What is an annotated bibliography and how do I create it?

An annotated bibliography typically is a collection of citations on your topic for which you provide a paragraph synopsis of the source as well as your thoughts on the source. The citations must be in the style (examples: MLA, APA, Chicago/Turabian) specified by your instructor.  See Purdue OWL link.
